After
last Saturday's performance, I'm starting to believe that the 2009 D-Line might
be the very best that OSU has ever produced. I rate them better than the 2003
D-Line of Will Smith, Tim Anderson and Co. and even better than the 1996 D-Line
that produced the likes of Matt Finkes, Luke Fickell and All-American, Mike
Vrabel. This 2009 edition is the most aggressive unit that I've ever seen.
You have to go back to the Vrabel-led team in 1996 as the last time the OSU
"D" had back to back shutouts. That was also the year that the
"Silver Bullets" name was born. If the 2009 “D” can keep the same
intensity as the 1996 team, something special could come from this (a trip to
Pasadena).
First things first, though, as the Bucks travel to
Ben Chappell leads the IU attack at QB and is a dual threat ala TP. Memorial
Stadium has been renovated and has added some nice features for the football
team, but I don't think those amenities will help their cause when
they see more Scarlet and Gray in the stands than Cream and Crimson.
I don't believe the Buckeyes will suffer any sort of setback as TP
will have a field day with his arm and legs. Boom Herron will extend his TD
streak to 9 games after Saturday. This will be a yawner from start to finish.
Prediction: OSU 45
GO BUCKS!!!
