I can honestly say that the 2008 OSU team resembles the 2004 team and we might be looking at a 3rd place finish and an Outback Bowl staring us in the face.

The O-Line has done a horrendous job blocking for an All-American RB in Beanie Wells. Both JB Shugarts and Mike Adams are now done for the year with shoulder and leg injuries respectively. Terrelle Pryor doesn't seem too confident in throwing the ball to a receiver as of late. The only saving grace has been the improved play of the D from the last 2 weeks.

If I had to give out an MVP vote so far, it would be Malcolm Jenkins without question. Jenkins is one of the best pure athletes that OSU has had since Chris Gamble. He's a tireless worker and he's like a coach in the secondary. He's well prepared on what the opponent can and cannot do. He will be sorely missed after this season. Thanks MJ for all of the thrills that you've provided to all Buckeye fans everywhere and wearing the #2 jersey with pride and class as Mike Doss did before you.

It has come to my attention that there were some broken chairs being thrown around between the OL and Rory Nicol. It seems that Mr. Nicol has touched a nerve concerning the O-Line's lack of blocking as mentioned earlier. He really let the O-Line know just how pathetic they are and they can't even block for an All-American RB in Beanie Wells. Like Jeff Reeb mentioned yesterday in another email, he would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for that altercation.

As far as the game is concerned, I see the Offense still struggling to find its identity and the D bailing them out to an extent. In the end, however, I think the atmosphere @ East Lansing will be too much for OSU to overcome and will lose a close one. Javon Ringer will get his 100+ yards rushing.
