DON'T BLAME PRYOR

What a dreadful performance by the offense again.  And this time it cost us a game.  A game we would win 9 times out of 10.  Against a team that had won 1 game going in.  This season is not shaping up the way we hoped.  Before you know it we'll start fearing the Gopher!

The message boards will be full of Pryor this week to be sure.  It won't be pretty either.  "He should have zigged instead of zagged," they will say.  There will be speculation upon speculation as to why TP just doesn't have it.  It's all getting a bit tiresome from where I sit.

I'm staying off those boards this week.  Especially since I have it all figured out.  It's not Terrelle Pryor's fault gang.  Blame the coaches.

Don't get me wrong; I'm not a Tressel basher.  Jim Tressel is exactly what we want in our head football coach: honest, hard working, God fearing and sincere.  A molder of young men.  He probably really believes that the punt is the most important play in college football.

But he's not a great offensive mind.  That's obvious.  And he doesn't have a decent back- up QB either or he would play him some while TP gets his groove back.

So, sit back for a moment and imagine a meeting on Monday morning in Gene Smith's office with Jimmy T.

GS: Coach, TBDBITL John is right; you need a new offensive scheme.  Your current one couldn't score with regularity on Cleveland Glenville.  Here's what I want you to do:

1. Find a new offensive coordinator and turn over the play calling duties to him.
2. Find a new quarterback coach and instruct him to let Terrelle be Terrelle.
3. Recruit a top-flight QB so Pryor can take a break when things are going bad.
4. Start on January 2nd immediately after we get back from Tampa and the Outback Bowl.

Impossible, you say.  Not in the world of TBDBITL John!

Go Bucks!  Yea Ohio!
