I hope everyone had a great Xmas with family and friends. As we head toward 2008, I want to send out a preview to the BCS Title Game and see where we stack up against the LSU Tigers.

In terms of location, it will definitely be a home field advantage for LSU. Playing only 70+ miles from home, the Tigers will not have to travel far to the Superdome. I wouldn't be surprised if Les Miles has the team travel the day of the game. By contrast, Jim Tressel and the gang will travel down to Louisiana on 1/2/08. De Nader Abdullah will serve as an "unofficial" tour guide for the Buckeyes.

LSU does make a point in which they state that they are still "undefeated" in regulation. Their two losses came in triple overtime to two mediocre conference opponents in Kentucky and Arkansas. Ohio State has one defeat by way of a very good Illinois squad that ran all over the Buckeyes.

There are three things that I'm looking forward to seeing: 1) Can Beanie Wells run all over the Tigers' defense just like he has with other foes this season? 2) Will Tressel be able to "out coach" Miles just like he did in the 2004 Alamo Bowl? and 3) Can the Buckeyes overcome the "home field advantage" element and put the wood to LSU? We'll find out soon enough as we approach game time. I hope everyone will enjoy the New Year and I hope to see you all @ Gills on 1/7/08 as the Buckeyes attempt to give the fans and University an 8th National Championship.

GO BUCKS!!! BEAT LSU!!!
